Dianne began songwriting in the 1970’s. Her first recorded song was "Behold the Lamb" by the Song Masters in 1976. Her song, “We Shall See Jesus,” by the legendary Cathedrals, won SGMA Song of the Year in 1984 and “Jesus Has Risen,” also by the Cathedrals, won the Singing News Fan Award for Song of the Year in 1995. She has had songs recorded by Greater Vision, the Hoppers, the Dove Brothers, the Kingsmen, Brian Free and Assurance, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, The Mark Trammell Trio, Karen Peck and New River, the Talleys, Gold City, Perfect Heart, the Singing Americans, the Lesters, the James Blackwood Quartet, Down East, Paid in Full, The Palmetto State Quartet, and the Melody Boys.
